Atomix Mag Issue #7 is now available!

Let’s talk about Issue #7. Even though we know that seven issues aren’t very many, we are very excited to continue working and improving the app every month while also offering you the best content possible, with a mix of opinions and special features about the video games industry and gaming in general – things we love as much as you do.

In this issue, you’ll find all kind of content, including a couple of interviews with two opposite characters in the industry. We sat and talked with eccentric game developer and producer Suda 51 from Grasshopper Manufacture, who tells us about the present and the future of their studio and his perspective about the video games industry in general. Also, we talked with Brian Proviciano, the mind behind Retro City Rampage, a GTA-like 8-bit game.

We also have a special feature about Sony’s beloved franchise Ratchet & Clank, as well as a deep analysis about the new model of gameplay known as “Role-Playing Shooter”. Is this the future of gaming? Find out here. We also talk about sports video games in general and how these titles are doing a great job teaching people the games they’re simulating. On the other side, if you are ready for an epic journey, take a look at the narrative about From Software’s Dark Souls.

If you are into superheroes, Batman is our cover feature, with a retrospective about the Dark Knight’s best and worst titles, and a deep analysis about the new game which claims to be the best superhero video game ever made. We also have an in-depth article about failure in video games. Make sure you know how many lives you have lost over the years in this fantastic article. And that’s not all, as we have much more content waiting for you in this issue.

Always remember that, in Atomix Mag, we try to be very different as we offer content that the consumer can scan and enjoy with every new issue, and we hope you are doing so. Let us know what you think so far since we started this project back in April. Thanks for staying with us, and enjoy Issue #7.

Before you download the new issue, it’s important to first update the app to the latest version (1.0.7).

These are the most notable improvements:

- Now you can reproduce your videos inside Atomix Mag thanks to iOS 5 compatibility.

- The issue is more stable while you are flicking through articles.

- Improvements in stability to use Atomix Mag without an internet connection

- We fixed the download bar, so now you’ll know the progress percentage precisely.

- New visualization that indicates when the issue is getting installed on your iPad

- Airplay support, so now you can see all the magazine videos through the devices compatibles with this option

In order to get the best experience out of all those benefits, we recommend you to follow these easy steps:

1) Update the Atomix Mag app to the latest version (1.0.7). You can do this

from iTunes or directly on your iPad.

2) Make sure you have at least 1GB free in your device. This is necessary for

the magazine to install correctly.

3) Make sure your Internet connection is working properly before starting the

download, and remember: Your iPad needs to be connected to the Internet

during the whole process.

4) If you’re having any problems, please try to uninstall the Atomix Mag app

and then reinstall it again. Don’t worry, you will never be charged for the

issues you’ve already bought.

5) For better performance, we recommend closing all other apps while the

installation of the magazine is running.

6) We strongly recommend you download one issue at a time.

Now we invite you to download Issue #7 of Atomix Mag. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did creating it.
